yup, remember these days. A quiet toy indeed, however, quiet could also mean a nice mural drawn on the hallway wall as well.. just saying. LOL. Its a simple work of art but yet very expressive of the imagination. Thanks for sharing.

Crayons are a very underrated art supply. I have seen them used to do fine work where larger tools would probably ruin the picture. And there are many methods that result in amazing quality.

In the world of art, forms blur and boundaries dissolve, leaving room for the viewer to weave their own narratives. And crayons have always played a vital roll in our lives from the age of two, I think. Thanks for sharing the lively post.

I hope that children do still use crayons for the simple pleasure that they bring. Everything is computer based these days. I see tiny children with iPads. It's the future I suppose and as a digital artist myself it would be hypocritical to complain too much! I really like the bold colours here and the plain background makes them pop all the more. A bit of nostalgia!

Your subject was well-positioned in the squared framed. I like the accompanying artist's notes even mentioning childhood memories with your grandmother.
