This is lovely stained-glass artwork, but it is your oil painting of it that is more outstanding. The wings appear they are drawn in ink which is even more skilled; the background is especially beautiful with the several colors. Thanks for sharing. Best wishes in the contest.

Quite a challenging contest this, and I especially like your limited color pallet. Stained glass is however known for the even and smooth coloring which I am missing in the background.
The angel with the child is however done paying a very good attention to details, and is well placed in the center.
The black framing is holding the composition together, giving it a good balance. All together a lovely and well done painting Maureen, and I wish you luck with the contest.

This is not something i could do or indeed come anywhere close,art i think is hard unless you know what you are doing,i sometimes go into churches and look at the stain glass work done in windows and wonder how intricate work like that is done,a bit like this,well done...Brian

Really lovely artwork here Maureen. The angels wings are so intricate, I really get the impression of stained glass. Very pretty soft colours and I like the reference to the Lamb of God at the foot of the painting. (Well that was my interpretation anyway). Beautiful.
