A beautiful picture of these two Otters in Yellowstone Park at the confluence of Soda Butte Creek with snow on one side & ice covered water on the other the setting sun adding a golden glow to their thick fur. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Otters are such cute animals, and you have pictured these playing around on the ice so well. I especially like the "dancer" on the right. The light is falling on them in such a lovely way, and they are standing out from the background in an excellent way.

The photo is pin sharp showing such clear and well defined details in both otters, and the white balance and exposure is spot on.

I also like the way you have cropped the photo and the placement of the otters within the frame. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo Ruth Ann, and with an excellent DOF.

Thank you. I used a long lens and then a close crop otherwise they would have gone into the water.
