It always blows me away to see what people can do with graphite pencils! This is absolutely incredible work. Very realistic. I am so sorry to hear about your 2nd cousin. Her family must be heartbroken.
Please tell me they got justice!
Great work! Every little detail!

Hi Linda, I was going to tell you how touching this image was with this young lady in prayer.... then I read what you wrote. I'm so sorry to hear the story behind the image. This image makes you wonder the times this young lady might have said prayers to help her get off of drugs. it's so sad that thing like this have to happen. I don't know how you had the strength to create this image! I'm sure the image meant a lot to her mom. I hope it helped both of you in the healing process. The image touches the heart! beautiful work! Wish I had a six for you! Bless you for creating this! :o) Nancy

A beautiful drawing, Linda and I'm sure your cousin was so pleased with this lovely remembrance of her beautiful daughter. Such a lovely pose. Excellent blending of light and shade and the dark background shows her off beautifully. Lovely message accompanying this, too. Excellent composition.

First off, 6 for your declaration of being a Christian and second a 6 for the wonderful artwork you presented here. In our current society people are afraid to talk about their christian beliefs for fear of ridicule. We are losing our voices in this crazy world so thank you for being proud of who you are. FAR is one of the only sites which still celebrates and supports Christian artists. Thanks for sharing!
