I love this. She showed up right on time because I was just writing new money affirmations. The description was key for this. I love the idea of breaking free from the chains. The money rainnand the right light coming from the sky tie it all together. Great job

A very powerful and interesting concept Lisa, but you are still young and have yet to learn that life experiences can sometimes get in the way of those dreams - and then you become a old cynic like me! Lol
A great entry for the competition, and a very interesting piece of work!
Very best of luck in the contest.
Charlotte

Thank you Charlotte, I don't think I'm as young as you think...lol! I was born in the 60s so I'm no spring chicken and I've got a whole pile of life and broken shovels that have gotten in my way. Time to bust out of that pile of you know what and move toward the light! Thanks again!

Lisa, I can't help but think of the song "I'm free", by the Who. This is a wonderful selfie, I will let you borrow the censored sign, if you feel you need it. I love the money swirling in the wind. You have severed your ties to the house and a big pile of money. Either you are going to become a nun or you have bought a van and you are going to tour the world as a free bird. By the way you can send the big pile of money to me only if you want to. Your paintings say a lot and thank you for sharing , very enjoyable. Ray

This is a rather fine drawing. The glow effect and other forms of process are interesting. Everything seems in proportion except perhaps the leg which appears smaller than the arms. Your labor does deserve a "5" and except for that mentioned above, the drawing as well. It has a number of very good features as well. It is different. Best wishes.

Hi Glena, thank you for your review, I always wanted skinny legs so I think I was trying to manifest those too...lol

Welcome. Cute. Fine work, though, and good to see your work again.

A pretty inspiring and meaningful artwork. I like the concept of the symbol of the chain that symbolizes the negativity in one's mind, hence, needs to be let go, to attain success and victory. Excellent drawing techniques and great choice of contrasting colors. Yes, be positive. There's power in what you believed!

I read your comment under your post and I thought that it was very interesting. Sometimes we don't take that chance and later on we wished that we would have but then it is to late. I like the colors here and I like the chains that are holding her back but I see that she is still trying to break free. This is well framed and I see that it is entered in a contest and I wish you the best in it. JackJr.

Thanks Lynnmarie, I try to create and document things that move me. As a graphic designer it's more often about getting the work done for a client and you can't always do what you want so I really enjoy doing the personal art because I do it for me.

A very interesting and unique piece presented here. Your composition shades tones and use of light brings your subject into focus. There is imagination and thought out into this visual. Well done!!

A fine-looking and intriguing painting, backed by some words of wisdom. I love it. It is an out-of-the-box presentation in terms of subject and choice of colours. It really attracts eyeballs. Good luck!
