Such a wonderful, candid wildlife shot. You really captured this lovely squirrel with great clarity. I have two grey squirrels that live in a tree that overhangs my garden and I love to watch their antics. It's very rare to see a red squirrel in the UK though anymore.

A cute picture of this red squirrel. He looks like he's just chilling'. Beautiful focus and clarity, catching his mischievous look. Focus and clarity are good.

The tree rat is on the prowl! Lol. Nice capture. The clarity is great. The angle of the shot of theis squirrel is great. The capture of the light is great. The presentation is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.

This really is a cute little guy! Many people (well in the UK anyway) regard squirrels as vermin, but I love them, they're so characterful and this is no exception!
A lovely capture, with good use of the rule of thirds, fine detail and a good exposure.
Good luck in the contest.

Lol the title is great. He or she looks like they are up to something. Great in the moment capture. I'm wondering if you see this same squirrel often?

Thanks for the great review. I doubt I see the same one. I live 15 minutes away to this particular park. The whole city is just shy of 300,000.

Cure Overload and is pretty natural, too. Great compliance of the rule of third. The squirrel is well captured and you've shown its bulky eyes, well. Wish you luck in this contest.

Hi Pat, This little squirrel really has a grip on that tree! I can't tell if he's climbing it or just soaking up the warmth of the tree! LOL It's definitely an interesting picture. You can't help but wonder what the little guy is up too. Nice lighting and focus allow us to really enjoy the image. Good Luck i the Contest! :o) Nancy

You did a fine job with this capture of the cute, relaxing, and perhaps for a little while a lazy squirrel. He indeed could be scouting things out. Best wishes in the contest.

    Most welcome indeed.

I like that the squirrel is not dead center in the photo. His intent look at some distraction is so typical squirrel. I suspect he was looking the opposite direction about one second later. Should do well in the contest!!
