Such a lovely soft pastel painting. I like the choice of colors that blends well in harmony especially the purple and pink blossoms. The background made a nice contrast and even made your subject to stand out. The vertical orientation is a nice choice of frame, but the placement of the cut flowers can still be improved having a negative space from the right side to be consistent with the left hand side corner. In addition that negative space could serve both a room to breath and border, too.

I enjoy the movement in this picture however the colour pallete chosen is dreadful. Perhaps if the warm and cool colour weren't so mixed and scattered about it wouldn't look so messy.

well this is soft pastel, its suppose to look like this, it is not literal to look like real, its an abstract work,, I have seen tulips this colour, so really im not sure what your problem is.

A unique piece of art. I would never of guessed they were tulips. Abstract art will do that to me personally, I have a hard time seeing what is meant to be seen. I do love the color choices though. Lovely

lol,,, thanks for your input, believe it or not there are some tulips that have different colours veins in them and the tops are frilly,

The background is nice. The tulips are like they are blowing in the wind: nice, but they and the stems, leaves are not so detailed. The colors are really nice as is the background well done in pastel. This is a fine loose style of tulips. Keep working with pastel; you are getting better and better.
