Thanks Glena, this was taken at our local Arboretum in winter. Light shows like this against snow are pretty awesome. A good way to enjoy the cold and dark of winter. Thanks for the nice review once again.

This is a photo with a strong visual impact because of the lovely flower shapes shown with blue, purple, green and white light, and you have pictured the display so well It is an original entry into a contest like this.
This is also a very sharp photo with clear and well defined details, and the exposure is just perfect.
The photo is also nicely cropped and the "flowers" are well placed within the frame. I think this is a truly beautiful and well taken photo Allan, and with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.

This definitely has impact and it is certainly blue. An aboratum is a collection of botanicals, and these have that shape with the suggestion of the garden around them. I think your use of light is
excellent in that you have created images that deal with their patterns very creatively. Its nice to know it was a fun shoot.

If this was taken outside it turned out really well. I love these colors and the dark background really makes them stand out. The focus is outstanding and I also like how it is framed. I see that it is entered in a contest and I wish you the best in it. JackJr.
