What a beautiful owl. How fortunate you were to see this owl and even more artistic to capture it with such skill. The perch is well captured also. The sky is also a beautiful blue. Congratulations on your win in the contest.

Nice study of this snowy owl and just enough detail in the bird and log,sometimes its hard to get detail on white stuff[exposure ete] only thing i might have done in this was to crop a tad of the left in this [but minor point].....Brian

Ok, I'm done, that's it! I have been trying to get a shot of a snowy owl ever since one was spotted a few years ago, coming back every year since. There is a co worker of mine who buys me a snowy stuffed owl whenever she sees one and gives it to me. I currently have ten, you know how many times she saw a snowy owl compared to me? TEN TIMES... I have yet to see one. You did a wonderful job on this image, colors and focus nice. Overall a great presentation. Thanks for sharing.
