Hi Ray, Looks like you painted your medicine cabinet! Looks like you might have all kinds of concoctions in there. Love the different shapes of the containers. Looks like you might even have a cork in one of them. LOL I see you might have some kind of medication in there and maybe some vitamins. I like the different hues. A very interesting collection my friend! Had a lot of fun looking around. I think it's a good entry for "still Life contest'. Good Luck! :o) Nancy

Christine, Thank you for your wonderful review and comments. I had fun with this, contriving different types of bottles and glass and how to display them, gave my mind a work out and was a challenge. As far as contest is concerned, There are many more talented artists on this site than I and all with different ideas and goals. I am hear to share my creations, with hopes that others will see what I present and understand what I do, and just to have fun. Your reviews are sincere and uplifting to me and are truly appreciated. I like a lot your half abstract paintings because the fine textures are still there, but also items we can recognize. I like the way you have let them fill the frame in this image.
The color pallet looks great, and I also like the fine shine you have brought out in the glass items.
I think this is a fine entry into a still life contest, and it is a very fine balance between positive and negative space. It is indeed a great looking and well done painting Ray, and I wish you luck with the contest.

very cool ray. love the soft pastel blend thru out. the bottle forms is excellent. the shading is excellent. the depth is excellent. the details is excellent. the blend of the colors is excellent. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. creative and awesome work overall(clapping)

Your brush work gives the entire scene a dated look that is pleasing to my eye.
