This is a wonderful photo presented here of this athletic dog, holding a branch that's unbelievably heavy. Your composition, shades, tones and colours are well done. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Nik.. Don't you think this dog is carrying the game of fetch a little too far, or just an optimist?

This is a good looking pet image you have posted. It is very well framed - especially when one considers the size of the stick.

The capture is bright with fine contrast and color.

Exposure and sharpness are good. Well done!... Bob

What a brave act. Catching something much bigger than his size. I love this amusing capture. The light and shadows, colours and, composition have worked out well. Good effort!

A very cool shot of your dog bringing a branch. It seems like it may be a bit too much to play pitch and retrieve but it sure wants to try. Nice use of composition and color. Well captured.

Very many thanks for your interesting review! That would try to pick up any kind of wood that was thrown for it, even if it was very heavy.

LOL The dog doesn't have a branch, he's got a tree in his mouth. I hope he didn't expect anyone to throw it! What a fun image! This is such a well taken fun image! Great job Nik! :o) Nancy

Your very kind review is most welcome! When it was on walks it would try and pick anything wooden, heavy or not.

Nik,
A fantastic picture of Honey with a very large branch held in her mouth extending what looks like over six feet on either side of her head causing danger to her teeth but the smile on her face tells me she's not too worried about that. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

I very much appreciate your kind review and that big 6! She was always keen on trying to pick anything made of wood and run around with it.

This is a rather large branch for such a small dog, but it doesn't look like it is going to drop it. I can see somebody trying to throw it though. LOL Would not go very far.

You have anyway pictured this really well, and the dog with the branch is standing out so well from the lovely landscape.

The photo is sharp showing clear and well defined details in both the branch and the dog, and the exposure is very good.

The format is very good and the dog is so well placed within the frame showing the whole length of the branch. It is a sweet and well taken photo Nikman, and with a very good DOF.

I am very grateful for your kind and detailed review! She was always keen to pick up any wooden objects and then run around with them, before she started chewing for a while.
