You have indeed pictured these three orchid flowers well, and the colors look fantastic. The light is falling on the flowers in a lovely way, and the are also standing out well from the background.
The photo is pin sharp showing clear and well defined details in every part of the orchid, and the exposure is spot on.
The tight framing and the placement of the orchids is working well, and it is a very fine balance in the composition. A truly lovely and well taken photo Allan, and with a very good DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.

This is one of the few ordchid photos I have taken that turned out OK.

I find Orchids to be a challenge to photograph. For me it's all about the perfect POV, here I love the way these are situated in a cascade.
These are well photographed with spot on focus, this image is sharp and clear and your exposure is perfect. The colors and tones appear natural.
You have brought out such nice detail in the petals as well as the intricate orchid center structure.

Hi Pat, I agree, for whatever reason, it is hard to photograph orchids. Usually something seems off. So this one is chocked up to blind luck!
