What an amazing result Pat I love tulips. Also I find in their latest stages as the petals open out, they take on some fantastic shapes and are well worth painting or photographing. Your photograph here is perfect in many aspects. Not only have we a good angle. Good colour, we can also see the little bulbs peeping underneath The whole composition is so well thought out and accompmished.

Sorry a late reply. I have had a few challenges this year. Broke my foit at Christmas. January had my passports stolen was stranded in Portugal. April went to Germany to finalise the rekease if our home and on journey to friends in Valencia Spain was hmrun off the motoway on the French Spanish border.. they took money cards and my passports again. So now back in Portugal as I have family here. Waiting for replacement passports. Stuck again.

Very visually pleasing image. I think the composition is excellent. The background is perfect to highlight the pink blooms. The flowers are very well exposed and are very sharp.
