Hi Susan, Welcome to FAR! I hope you enjoy your stay here! This reminds me of the Quoddy Lighthouse in Lubec ,Maine. It has a lot of red and white stripes down it's side. There is something special ab out lighthouses. I love going to the ocean and seeing them. Love the little outcrop you set this one on. I like the addition of palm trees to the side too. You gave this a nice tropical feel. Nicely done and a joy to view! :o) Helvi

welcome to the site,i also like lighthouses and there are many here in the uk,many used to br manned now they are mostly automatic,the use of the palm trees balance up the lighthouse in this,well done...Brian

Inspiring thoughts per artist notes. I like the lighthouse that you have painted here in this tropical shore. The palm and the ocean added so much life in this setting. Great choice of red and white of the lighthouse. The pale blue sky also made a strong contrast with your lighthouse colors. Great composition, excellent painting skills, and you've framed this well, too. A delight to view.
