Hi Lynnmarie2, this image "Lion in the Green" is very realistic and would not want to meet him in the wild. The texture of the hair and the eyes are well done. Great colours, clarity and composition. Good luck in the contest and thanks for sharing :-)

Most of the time, your gut whispers the truth and is not lion. :) I think you have a wonderful shot of this lion peering through the tall grass with his intense eyes and a fine choice for the contest. The best of luck. Ray

Hi Lynn, You jus knocked me off my seat with the extraordinary detail in this. I'm always impressed with the detail you have in your images. Totally life-like look in this! The only thing I would have done differently is make the grass brown so the lion would disappear into it. That would have looked awesome if it had been the camouflage contest! For the "Eyes have it" contest, the eyes capture your attention right away. One feels like they are the prey! Wish I had a six for you! I enjoyed! God Luck in the contest! :o) Nancy

This is a great entry into the contest. Beautiful detail shown here, especially the lions hair and coloring. The eyes are well defined and hidden behind the grass adds mystery. Good luck.

In this captivating work, the beast gazes from behind the bush with eyes that seem to hold both mystery and strength. A very well made digital work. Good luck!

Oh yes, these are definitely the eyes of a predator who has already chosen his victim! This powerful look pierces right through! And now he will rush at you!!! These are the eyes of a winner! A good competition work. However, perhaps I would have shown the eyes a little larger and closer. But you did a good job!

Those eyes speaks and pretty expressive as if he is just there waiting expectantly. I like how you've focused the face, giving emphasis on the eyes making this a great entry for this contest.
