I am not sure how I missed this spectacular piece of art. The soft colors blending on the smooth water of the winding creek, and the depth of this beautiful scenery are just so nice to view. Maureen congratulations!!!

Kind of scene that at first glance I said to myself: "this feeds my soul." Love the choice of realistic colors especially the smooth water of the creek. Great layers of textures and colors in the foreground both the green and the golden hues, You've lead our eyes through the creek to the trees and empty negative space filled with Autumn trees. Those fallen leaves in the creek are a nice indication of the changing of the season. This is a masterpiece and overall, a painting that soothes my soul.

Such a beautiful arrangement of trees and swarths of green grass as they border the meandering slow moving stream as it gently flows through its predetermined path slow and deliberately, catching the fallen leaves aand carries them down stream. Hi Maureen, Always love it when someone does a scenic "round the bend image. You can't help but wonder what is around the bend of that brook. Love the soft feel that the paints give this. Beautiful reflections in the calm waters. Love the addition of the floating leaves on the water.....so cool! beautiful job My Friend! Wish I had a six for you! Great entry for the contest too!
