Hi Michele.. I have followed your Orchid post for some time, and I am now of the conclusion that you are a Bonafide expert in this arena of botany.
this is a well thought out post. It has very sharp detail in the flower petals and the central structures are in excellent focus and well seen.
Utilizing a high contrast cohesive background is a stroke of genius - the contrast supplied by the absolute black background makes the flower pop.

These striking yellow flowers are so well captured, and the light is falling on them in such a lovely way. I especially like the all black background, because it makes the flowers standout in an excellent way.
The photo is sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in all the flowers. The exposure is perfect.
The tall format is working so well, and the cluster of flowers are well placed within the frame. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.

This is very beautiful and skillfully captured. The DOF is perfect and allowed for every bloom to be recognized with sharpness and clarity. It welcoming to see a floral arrangement like this rather than the usual one-up presentation. I nice change indeed.
