Welcome back Jo! I love robins and this European Robin has offered such a lovely pose and you have captured it well! Love that open beak , I wish I could hear its song!
Well focused, this image is sharp and clear and exposure is correct. Colors and tones appear natural.
Well defined detail in feathers, face and beak, I especially appreciate that clear eye!
Well composed and presented!

I love the scene per se. What's not to love with an early Spring scene with apple blossoms and a singing red robin. Great angle, focus, and lighting showcasing it singing facial features and the bright eye. I also like the natural colors. Well captured and this is a sweet scene.

HI Jo, I think the robins you have are a lot prettier than the ones we have in the states. Love the bright look of this one in song mode. I like the way he's perched on the branch. Your wonderful lighting and focus show him off well! Nicely done! :o) Helvi

Hi Jo, I've recently returned to FAR as well. I'm also a self-taught photographer, I look forward to seeing your images.
You have captured this robin happily singing without a care in the world. Your tack sharp focus has achieved a nice, detailed appreciation of him/her with texture in the breast. The limbs provide a natural frame and safe haven for this attractive robin.

A very beautiful visual presented year of this Robin as it sings to the world. Composition, shades, tones, colors, and background highlight your subject perfectly, and bring it to life. Thank you so much for sharing.
