Your skill with something as "basic" as Bic pens and Sharpies has always amazed me. I love the shading you have done with this piece. The movement of her hair and flow of the cloth adds life to the piece. Good luck in the contest.

A good looking image posted here into the competition! Your fine, full and appropriate composition offers us a very enjoyable view of that pretty young woman. Is she standing in front of a church window, or an upright coffin? Well painted and good luck!

you know from the 60's until 98 the only colors that sharpie and bic offered were red, blue, green, gray and black and that is it. see sharpie and bic are a office medium..not art.. the multiple choice of colors hit the market in 99. (true story) my wife and was walmart and i always walked down the pen aisle to see what is new and low and behold i saw the new color display for sharpie and bic..i let out a yell and started to grab some 24 packs. my wife was in the next aisle over and heard me yell and she come a running. she said i looked like a lil boy surround by 24 packs and i look up and shouted "I HAVE COLOR!!" ..i like my wifes version telling that story..lol. thanks Maureen for the awesome review.

Great entry into the contest. Interesting the way you used dots. There is a dreamlike feel to this and a sense of the wind with hair and dress. Well done and good luck in the contest :-)

Mark, this is another amazing drawing. I love how you have drawn her wavy hairstyle being blown by the wind. The white off shoulder dress is pretty stylish. And you have a lovely woman here as a model. Excellent drawing skills and style. The white background fits well, too. Love it!
