The dark and light of the woman in red with the rolling waves of blues really captures the sense of her waiting, the anticipation. The use of the soft pastel is brilliant and makes the piece even more touching.

I like this sort of reminds you of the film shirley valentine wear she sat on a chair on the edge of a beach in greece,that aside it does evok memories of that sort of scene in this,good work....Brian
