Congratulations on your 2nd place win.
Your acrylic painting on paper is another unusual piece that invited the viewer in to gaze awhile and imagine the setting. I like the title. It's like it suggests we're viewing a reflection.
Nice.

wow, wow, wow. To say that I am blown away by this fantastic work would be an understatement. It is so whimsical and delicate and perfect. It appears to be a photograph, but there is a spiritual element that defines it. I love this piece.

Judging by the title Ray this is supposed to be the other side of a pond which i think you have shown just a hint of the pond in this, very artistic and seems a lot of nature in this one, good art as usual....Brian

Brian, this started out from a painting that went dark and sat on the bottom of the pile for quite some time. I added light to it with white and yellow then added all the rest. This all came from my mind no model, I really enjoy putting this one together. Ray

With the color pallet you have used, it is easy to see that this is a spring scene. I especially like that we can see a part of the pond, the shine in it and also the reflections. The fine vertical lines indicates thin branches, and the pink some beautiful blossoms.

As always it is great textures to be seen, and I also think you have used high lights in an excellent way.

I think this is a truly lovely and well done abstract spring scene Ray, and it is such a fine flow and balance in the composition.

The texture in this painting is phenomenalâ€"the layers create such richness, and the way the colours interact brings a mesmerising vibrancy. It's a testament to both skill and vision. Here's my SIX for you.Good luck!
