to me it is like any other country side(i have lived and many many states) still it is a cool scene. the clarity is great. the capture of the light is great. the angle of the shot of the fence, field and woods is great. the presentation is balanced and eye interesting to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

A very lovely visual present to hear of this amazing landscape. I love the rustic colors. The angle that you use presents the beautiful rolling Hills in such a pleasing way. I love how the fence separates the land. Interesting to view!thank you for sharing. Good luck in the contest!

Great shot here Kathy of boundaries and a great entry into the contest. For me it's the warm colours of Autumn and the fence and treeline in a Diagonal parallel to each other leading the eye to the distant hill . Great natural colours and exposure. Great focus, texture and clarity. Well done and good luck in the contest :-)

It qualifies for the contest because of the fence, whether there was a better viewpoint only you would no,think though the fence makes the dof better because of its closeness plus the distant trees will make the dof bigger....Brian

An impressive photograph of nature! The human touch stands out like a sore thumb! But then that's what man does to nature. The framing is thoughtfully executed, and the balance of light, shadows, and colours enhances the overall composition. Lovely work! Good luck!

This is a nice entry for this contest, the fence shows how man has touched this landscape.
The fence is interesting in its construction,I can see the grass is mowed on the right inside of this fence.
It's a beautiful autumn view and I like the autumn dressed trees mixed in with the evergreens over on the right.
These warm autumn colors are so pretty -under the blue sky with nice cloud detail.
Well captured from a nice angle , the fence makes a perfect leading line.
Well focused, clear image with correct exposure.
Colors and tones appear natural. Well composed and presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

I love this so much. I can see why you feel it is so magnetizing. Just beautiful. The bronze field and golden trees are an inviting scene to behold. Love that old fence.
Perfect time of day for great exposure and good balance. Good luck in the contest!

A good looking nature image posted here! Your fine and classical composition offers us an enjoyable view of one of your favourite locations. Colours textures and tones are good. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well taken!

Very nice post and I see why you are attached to it. Here are some reasons why you (and I for that matter) like the image.

The image is very sharp with good depth of field. The fence provides a pleasant diagonal line which matches the diagonal line make by the yellow trees (symmetry). I think the X pattern make by the top of the fence posts add interest. The fence with its
shadow and light gives it a 3D look.
The fence, grass/trees and sky roughly are in thirds.

The single tree penetrating the sky in the upper right gets ones attention.

The contrast with the relatively smooth grass contrasts with the rather ragged pine and deciduous trees.

They sky has a muted color making all of the foreground stand out that much more.

And a little teaser, there is a hint of mountains in the far background.

So there you go, how could you not like this image! : ))
