This says "MW" all over it. I can tell by the grain in the image. I looked up to make sure and I was right! Love the beautiful detail in this and the way the horse's head comes into the image. Love the way he seems to be looking at the viewer. Proportions are good too! Love the whole presentation! Good Luck 8n the contest! :o) Nancy

I love the tenderness in her eye. The use of contracting colors of dark brown and white really increased the definition of its facial features. The vein in that face added a realistic element as well as the shiny textures of the coat. This painting is sharp and well defined and the plain background fits well. Excellent framing placement and choice of vertical frame that really accomodated the close up image of this horse. A great entry and wish you the best in this contest.

A very excellent entry into the contest. The angle of the horses' head is presented at a nice angle. The bright light shows on his nose with the darker shadows showing in his face and the background.
