I have seen birds do this, it seems like they are just falling but they do it with such gracefulness.
Well captured female cardinal .she is well positioned within the frame .well focused, this image is clear, nice management of the light , I like the way it illuminates her tail feathers.
Well composed in natural surroundings.

This was a fun shot, looks really goofy when rotated 90 degrees too. Sent it that way to some friends, had them wondering how the bird was flying straight upward :)
