Gorgeous tones, rich lighting as well as depth of this beautiful scene and its striking reflective properties. I love the diagonal presentation that draws the viewers eyes into the awe of this lovely place.

The colours are glorious, that's for sure. Ultimately though it's just a picture of a lovely sky and I've got hundreds like this so definately worth pressing the shutter. I think the composition needs just a little work. Nice to look at though.

It doesn't need a whole lot doing to it. I find the bushes and the dark beach(?) in the foreground to be a little bit distracting. Remove those and that will make the composition more balanced and the distraction will be gone. This image is all about the glorious colours.

Well thank you , I think this is the lowest rating I have ever recieved, I felt the brush in foreground gave perspective and added depth.i appreciate your thoughts.

It's a personal opinion Alaska and really means nothing or shouldn't mean anything to you. It is a nice photograph.

What a fantastic sunset you have pictured here Pat. It almost look like the sky was on fire. I especially like how well you have captured the reflections from the sky in the mirror like water and the lovely contrasts between the blues and orange colors.
This is of course also a sharp photo where silhouetted foreground is standing out well defined against the water. The exposure is perfect.
The format and framing is very good, and it is such a fine flow and balance in the composition. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.
