This is a great painting. I love her smile. I like how you captured her hair. The eyes look realistic. It is a great image. I can see the joy. Thanks for sharing.

    Thank you so much!

The two things I love about this painting is her hair and her big smile. The issues I see is the eyes are off-center. The Big smile needs some help with being able to distinguish the teeth from her lips. If you correct, these two things you would have a wonderful portrait.

We immediately see that this young lady is very happy, well rendered to show this joyful daughter of your friend.
I like the way you have posed her and the very big smile you gave her.
Well presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

That smile is both so warm and welcoming. I felt like I was looking at someone who is a potential friend. I like the facial expression but many some added shading can still improve the overall face like the top of the nose bridge can still be improved to increase its definition.

Thank you so much! The painting is gone, given to my friend. I only have the photo of it to adjust but I will try.

You have done a wonderful job on this presentation. This a great foundation and I suggest adding details in the mouth and eyes as you see them. You are doing great keep them coming. Ray

Thank you so much! This is an older painting so I could only update with Canva adjustments. I haven't ser up my paints in my new artroom yet. Hopefully I can do with painting what I've been working on with drawing-- details that I see as you say. So grateful for your advice and supportive words. :))

The smile speaks louder than the brush marksâ€" a burst of innocent joy captured on canvas. Her wide grin lights up the frame, reminding us that happiness needs no perfection. Good effort!Good luck!
