Wow this gorgeous! The composition and details are fantastic. That VASE.... What can I say.... There are no words. It's so realistic and the flowers are so perfect, I can almost smell them. This definitely deserved to win!!! WELL DONE!

I can't say enough your water color. I do watercolor myself, and it can be very unforgiving. You have executed your painting perfectly! You did a beautiful job on your daffodils. I like your background of Brown's that shows off your flowers and vase. I am very impressed with the table top, which looks realistic. Your placement of the books makes for a perfect picture. Well done!

Thank you so much, Pat! Yes water colors can be tricky, I find using an angled brush helpful to stay in control of where your paint is going.

My art started young too although in college I had a problem and let art go. It feels good to see someone create based on their childhood work. It motivates me to regain the art within me. I love the lights and shadows, details and natural color scheme. Beautiful!!
