My son went off in a car like that then they Disappeared within like you still sitting on the bed trying to get changed so you coming down or not is said wate a minute I'm still getting my pants on.

Love the classic car here. I like the different hues used in the coloring of this white Rolls Royce. The depth is really good. The background makes the car stand out even more. Thank you for sharing.

This is adorable! I love the expressive paint strokes as it creates the feeling of moving and excitement! And seeing as they just got married I'd say there's a lot of excitement and joy to be felt. The bright colors also create the feeling of happiness. It's almost like the car is a bride, since it's white and the little garland in back could be its bouquet! All in all I'm glad you went outside your comfort zone and tried something new.

I absolutely love this painting! The impressionistic folk art style is evocative and beautiful. The playful brushwork, interesting angles, and vivid colors are reminiscent of Jacob Lawrence and Ken Done. I appreciate that the loose brushstrokes convey the motion of the car and the excitement of the event. My only suggestion would be to give some more room around the edges to let the subject breathe a bit more and give greater contrast between the car and background. However, that is a minor drawback in comparison to the work as a whole. Overall, I am thoroughly charmed by the whimsical and nostalgic painting.

Thank you so much! I'm stating over with art after many years so I appreciate your thoughtful feedback. I understand your note about the composition and tried to change that before the deadline but couldn't. I first just drew a car then added the theme. I'll plan better next time. I value your honest review and encouragement. :)

That takes me back when I was the one driving into the future with my wife of 30 years, she passed away this past Sept with breast cancer, so my advice to all of you women, do those mammograms when they come due because you never know. I definitely miss her and looking at this brings back a whole lot of memories. I like how it fills the frame and I see that it is entered in a contest and I wish you the best in it.
