Beautifully done. The shading, light, and the folds are wonderfully created. And I love the black background. It really makes the colours stand out. I'm a bit jealous of how well the hands are done. Those are a weak point of mine.

It really adds a softness to the quality of the image which is appropriate for the subject matter that you chose to portray Foreshortening is very well done. Your technique of portraying shadowing gives it a realistic presence. It is just a lovely composition, overall. Best of luck in the contest.

What a beautiful image. Capturing the essence of Mary is perfect. I like the light coming off her face. Portraits are always difficult to create especially those that evoke such emotion. Thanks for sharing.

Simply striking. The black background works incredibly well with the white fabric. The blue shawl with folds of black and white unite the figure and background very well. I like viewing this work of art. It is definitely a stand-alone beautiful piece.
