Sometimes wehave to suffer for those excellent shots. This is one f them. Very creative and worth the struggle I am sure. Overall a nice presentation. Thanks for sharing it.

A very beautiful photo. Excellent image of mountains, fog, and of clouds. Good composition and design. Did you capture the shot from an elevated location like on a building or airplane? I like how the clouds encircle the city giving it a nice effect.

Thank you Ann. I took this from an adjacent hill and the city is actually a farmhouse ... looks cityish though.

Yes but it was worth it to get this shot the misty effect has made this ideal for this contest and although you would expect to see more content in this type of contest this works....Brian

Thanks Brian. I doubt it will do that well in the contest due, as you said, to lack of content. I kinda like the shot though

Though you have captured the morning mist quite well, the overall composition didn't really hold my attention. I couldn't identify a real focal point. The mountains and the town rising out of the mist are quite lovely and overall you have framed the scene very well.

Another great minimalist shot with very little detail and no color but the shapes appearing above the mist describes a lot! The mountains in the background over the village makes this composition quite well done.

Makes cool shot for a mystery or thriller story. The clarity is great. The angle of the shot of this faintly seen building in the for with mountain behind it is great. The capture of the light is great. The presentation is balanced and very eye appealing to the viewer. Great eye and awesome work overall

Beautiful and so simple however hard to get - we all know it and done it as well.
Great details peaking through the clouds and overall powerful feeling of serenity! Deserves the stars!

I enjoyed reading the artist's notes. So sorry about the pretty steep hill and you missing your breakfast. I guess it is all worth it, after capturing this dramatic foggy scene.

A good looking image posted here into the competition. Your fine and full composition offers us an enjoyable view of your tranquil and isolated location. Exposure and sharpness are good. Well done and good luck!
