Good job catching up with this one. The details on the Swallowtail are great and show perfectly with the bright colored Azaleas. Mine are usually showing towards the end of the blooming season of this vibrant shrubs so I will have to settle for less dramatic colors . Thank you for sharing your photos.

Hi Jack. I so know what it's like to chase butterflies! Lol Sometimes they sit for awhile sipping nectar but other times they barely land before they take off again. You never get the chance to focus before they take off. You never know where they're going to land either! The chase is on!!! With all that you did a great job getting this shot! The lighting and focus are wonderful! Love that you got the proboscuis (don't know if I spelled that right) Nicely done and a joy to view! :o) Nancy

Jack, overall it is a striking image and a nice shot of this butterfly. The colors are nicely shown against the pink colors of the azaleas. Unfortunately, it is a tad out of focus.

NO! she puts me to work! mumble mumble mumble!" lol. very nice colorful capture. the clarity is great. the angle of the angle of the shot of this colorful butterfly and flowers is great. the capture of the light is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. great eye and awesome work overall.

Unfortunately I sold her due to my full knee replacement as I can never ride again.
