This is a nice entry for the competition although simple it is quite stunning you have managed to capture the frillly petals of the iris stem of flowers along with the variation and
color of blues and violets set
against the blue sky is a perfect foil

It is a truly beautiful Iris you have pictured here, and it is standing out from the blue sky in an excellent way. A few droplets add to the beauty of this flower.

The photo is very sharp and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen in both flowers. The exposure is perfect.

I also like the tall format and the placement of the flowers within the frame. I can see from your notes that you have changed the background, and it is really well done. Still I am not so sure the blue color of the sky goes so well with the color if the Iris.

But I think this is a really well taken photo with a fine DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest Nieves.
