A nice collection of so many ducks together. I find their markings unusual. however, the ducks in the foreground are out of focus, so lack detail.

Hi Nik, The only duck I recognize in this image is the Mallard. I've never seen the other kind of ducks before! I love their coloring! Some of the ducks in the forefront are a little out of focus so I took a little off your rating. The lighting is very nice. Except for the soft focus of the ducks in front I enjoyed the image!

Nik,
A beautiful Picture of a Mallard Drake & Duck in the background . The Ducks in the foreground are not Mallards but Marbled Ducks ~ Marmaronetta angustirostris they come from Southern Europe & Northern Africa. I too had to look them up. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting, taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
