This is a wonderful portrait of your son and a great contender for the contest. The image itself is enticing and appealing to the viewer. The colors are warm and rich without being over-saturated. The focal point is well placed and the composition is well framed. The subtle lighting being given by the candles really sets the mood for the composition.

This is quite special and also could have been used for the candles contest,that aside family shots are not always the best contest photos,but this i feel is differnt,greek churches are a must for me on holiday [although not religous as such] there is something quite unique about them,great one for a family album as well.....Brian

Thank you so much, Brian, I think the thing about the Greek orthodox churches, at least the smaller old ones, they feel very authentic vs. modern ones and they are charged with prayers, you can feel it. I thought triple c was pretty good for this contest:))

I've never been to Crete but heard its a historical wonder. The image is excellent. The focus and details are spot on. The lighting is perfect. I wish more people would post images like this. Step above most others!
