This is just beautiful! The zooming in on this flower pedal is one thing. But being able to see the water droplet on the pedal with such detail is amazing. Gorgeous work, thank you for sharing!

A very nice capture of raindrops on the petal of a flower; lovely focus and clarity; and I agree it would have been awesome if you had taken it with a macro lens.... Can't win them all. It's still a great photograph.

Hi Michele.. I cropped a ton off this shot and frankly I was amazed at how much detail the image retained. Been thinking and next opportunity for a shot like this I also going to use my 30mm close-up lens. It can open up to f/1.4. Thanks for a great review... Bob

Don't you just love little surprises when you go to look at an image after you taken it? I understand your delight in finding the raindrop on the pedal of the flower. It's a beautiful composition, sharply focused with rich color and terrific detail. The raindrop adds interest to it as well.

lol..i remember one cartoon skit i did for the "Funnie Flowers" series where a yellow stream is coming down from above hitting one flower in the face..the other flower a few inches away is smiling and holler to the other flower "it's not lemonade!"..its buried deep in my portfolio..just thought i would give ya a chuckle. (thumbs up)
