Jewell, ahh, JC doing the water walk. Very cool and religious. The image of Jesus walking on water reminds us that with faith, we can overcome any obstacle, or any mountain. living a life guided and empowered by the Holy Spirit. It involves a conscious choice to depend on and obey the Spirit's leading in all aspects of life, rather than being controlled by one's own desires or the influences of the world. So if you want to walk with JC you have to have a good pair of water shoes. This is beautiful and I wish you luck in the faith contest. Ray

A lovely piece of artwork, very dramatic colors and textures shown. The clouds are dramatic in color and formation; the moon so bright in the sky. I love the color and the motion of the sea. Good luck in the contest.

I really love this. The turmoil of the water and yet the calm beneath the feet of Jesus. I love this passage. The clouds and the sky are very nice as well. Great job and thank you so much for sharing!

Hi Jewell, Love the way you did the clouds and active sea. The surroundings look angry but the light of the moon reveals a feeling of coming calm. Love the colors you used to express emotion. The tiny figure of Jesus is is very reassuring! Very nicely done my friend!

Thanks Brian. I No, some don’t believe and some do. I just quoted what the Scripture says. When I created this image, I hadn’t put Jesus in it, but I felt like there was something missing and then I thought of that scripture and I thought it would be kind of cool to put him in there!
I believe the Bible has a lot of history in it. One day, we will know.

Thank you so much for such a kind review. I appreciate your words and your accolades! When I first painted this, I wasn’t going to add Jesus, but it came to me that he would fit perfectly in that water the way it was. I like that story in the Bible I think it’s pretty cool.
