i would be walking by saying " see you on the holidays!" WINK..lol. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this turkey family is great. the capture of the light is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Nice capture and good choice for the contest. Very well composed with nice natural colors. Good details as well as the nice initial and visual impact. Cute little guy in the back looking on with great interest. nice technique and story telling ability. one thing i will say is Id like to see a little more details in the shadows but that's just me. Yes indeed a good entry.
These wild turkeys are getting more and more domesticated.
They are fun to see though especially when the Toms are fanning to attract a pretty lady.

I also like the little one peeking out. Very nice.

Aww, how cute and yes the chick peeking out from post cool. I have so many wild turkeys but they seldom ring the kids around. you lucked out with a great composition offered. Good focus and depth of field. The background Hosta is not distracting at all and adds a nice softness. Good job :)

Hi Cindy, One in a while I get lucky and get to see them with chicks.
One strange thing about this encounter was that there were two hens with their chicks. The chicks you see in this shot were twice as big as the other hen's chicks. Wish I could have gotten a shot with both families in the same shot! Thanks for the wonderful review! Glad you enjoyed! :o) Nancy
