A lovely photo for the color blue. However the gondolas in the foreground are out of focus and therefor a distraction, I think if you could erase the foreground. you would have a beautiful photo as the back is in perfect crisp focus Good luck in the contest though..

This deserves a 6, but unfortunately I'm all out of them. This is a spectacular night shot. The richness of the color blue is absolutely extraordinary and the contrast of the lit up ship to the darkness is amazing. What a great contender for the contest. Best of luck.

hi len hope you get better soon, and yes its good to k on photos and places you have been,venice is unique both at daytime and night [have done both]only for a day though,that aside i am puzzled by this one i think the moving boats really don,t work in this one as such if anyr=thing they distract but do like you tried something different...Brian

First, I wanna say I hope you recover soon. Back injuries are not fun. That's for sure. I've had one in the past and had to do a year and a half of Physio just to get myself moving again. Your composition colours and presentation is extremely well done. Good luck in the contest.
