Very powerful visual presented here of this tornado that cost such devastation. I can feel the power of the wind as it works through and destroys homes and dreams. Really well done. Thank you for sharing.

You are quite the story telling, that was captivating.
I sure understand the fear one would have, yikes.

I like the monotone gray for this image, it adds to the effect. The expression in the caption tells the story also.

Your drawing really captures the raw power and eerie uncertainty of such a storm. The way you've paired it with your vivid narrative makes us almost feel that moment â€" the confusion, the fear, and the awe at nature's force. You've managed to balance history, memory, and imagination in a way that pulls the viewer straight into the scene. It's not easy to translate such destruction into art with sensitivity, but you've done it beautifully. Please continue to share your work â€" it's both moving and inspiring. Here is my six for you. Well done!

A good looking news image presented here! Your fine, full and appropriate composition offers us a very good view of a tragic, natural, but unusual event. Nicely drawn!

Thank you so much!! This happened in 1974, so I wasn't born yet. I'm telling the story through a person who saw the storm

Devonte Your tornado sketches are very impressive and so are your intentions. This one differs from the others because there are two tornados but not touching down. Very nicely presented. Ray

Such a huge tornado and you have drawn this with prominent and well defined details when it comes to its shape and formations. I like the flying debris in the air signifying the gravity of the destruction this tornado brought about. I still want more chaos and debris to be shown in the foreground caused by this F5 tornado. Informative artist's notes.

Thank you so much!! I got this from a photograph, so I tried my best with the debris, I didn't want to make the drawing to clustered. I got a list of tornadoes I will draw and next one will be a dozy with the debris!

We have tornado last May 25, 2024 damaging 33 Million dollars here where I live, so I am speaking from experience. It was only an EF 3 Tornado. Our foreground is like a War Zone - Like fallen trees that blocked the trees and these trees were about 50-75 years old. Houses were destroyed, some were totally damaged. Debris mostly tree trunks and dense leaves covered the foreground and the streets. Yes, make it crazy and messy. Damaged car or cars with trees at the top. Thanks for the nomination. Highly appreciated.

Look at the video of Tornado in Rogers AR May 26, 2024. Houses were completely damaged. There so many in you tubes, too. It will give you an idea of the actual scene.
