Wow! Your technique and skills with water color really shines in this beautiful painting. I love how my eye wanders up the path and to the setting sun with the dramatic clouds building up in front of it. Your use of light and shadows really enhance th setting. Good luck in the contest.

What a warm and atmospheric painting! The golden light beautifully fills the scene, giving it a peaceful, almost nostalgic glow. The soft blending of tones creates wonderful depth, leading the viewer's eye along the path through the village. The balance between shadow and light feels natural and comforting. A truly captivating and soulful work. This is definitely a six but FAR only gives so many. ;( Linda

The way that you painted this is simply beautiful. I love the way you painted the colors especially in regard to light and dark colors to give it this look. I like how the sun is peaking through the clouds and shining down! Beautiful painting, thank you for sharing!

Beautiful artwork that shows the warm light and the darkest shadow so nicely. All the details and effective composition with the road leading as through the village into the dark forest where only the full moon in bright light. Great contest entry!
