Margo lives in the heart of the BC rockies and paints on feathers, mostly turkey feathers. She has painted on just about everything from wood to glass and rocks but feathers are what she likes best. She is a wife, mother and grandmother, has been retired for a while and this is when she developped an interest in painting on feathers first as a hobby but is considering selling some pieces as soon as her husband stops claiming them all for himself,lol. She loves painting animals in their habitat or just on their own so the feather is left as intact as possible. She uses acrylic paints and applies a sealer to the finished product, She then cuts a matte and her husband makes the frames, so it is a joint effort.
