Living on the desert and being a desperado is not an easy or comfortable way of life. It is, however, the best way to describe my experiences. My life has been as barren as the desert with the scorching sun of accountability from religious leads and law enforcement authorities. There has been the drought of rejection as well as the refreshing rain of acceptance. I have grown tough and resilient as the plants and animals of the desert southwest. It is through the university of adversity that I have learned life's lessons. My photography reflects who I am and what I have become... a desert desperado.
