Housewife and mother of 2 grown children. I also have 3 stepchildren (one sadly passed in a tragic accident at 21) and 8 step grandchildren.
My main passion is composing and arranging my own music (see: http://www.fanmusic.com/kerri_powles) but just recently have had a hankering to return to photography.
I used to be a keen photograph many moons ago (before digital cameras) it was a hobby that I shared with my Father, but when he passed away my hobby died with him, and it is only recently my interest has been rekindled, partly because of the incredible pictures I've seen on this site!
At the moment I'm just using a basic point and shoot Samsung camera and sometimes my smartphone (far from ideal) and am planning on getting a DSLR sometime in the near future so would really appreciate any recommendations for a good all- rounder for around the £250-£300 ($310-$470) price range
