I am a veteran school psychologist and work in a local public school system. I have always enjoyed photography but I began studying it in earnest about 5 years ago when a friend wanted me to take engagement photos of her son and his fiancé. Until that point, I focused on nature photography. Now, I supplement my income for equipment/travel by taking family, senior, baby, engagement, wedding, etc. portraits and travel to the smoky mountains and our wonderful state parks every chance I get to take nature photos. My goal is to continue to study and grow as a photographer so that I can retire from my professional career in a few years and enjoy a second career in photography. BTW, you might be interested to know that I do not use photoshop as I have yet to learn it! I use ACDsee Pro 6. I have PSE 10 but haven't used it yet either. My next goal is to learn PSE and ditch ACDsee which regularly crashes on me!!
