Lorzposs hails from the French Alps where she was brought up by a family of yetis who taught her to draw by etching charcoal on the walls of a cave. That's her favourite version of events; the alternative story is that she grew up amid the slate quarries and snow-topped mountains of North Wales. The unique characteristics and beauty of the Welsh landscape and the legacy of Celtic folktales are clearly visible in much of her work, even that produced in her new home in Toronto, Canada.

Educated at the Kent Institute of Art & Design in Maidstone, England, Lorzposs values feedback from other artists and anyone engaged by her work. As an aspiring illustrator of children's books she loves sharing her work with younger readers and hopes to inspire a sense of wonder similar to that stimulated in her by the likes of Anthony Browne, Tim Burton, Lewis Carroll, and Hayao Miyazaki.
