Like the clarity of the Kookaburra it show the feather clearly and the brilliant color contrast in the eyes. This bird was captured very well in it environment.

Such a difficult choice! All of these deserve first place, but I had a wild mallard fly in and "adopt me" at a horse farm until I took it to a waterfowl preserve in Ohio, so really appreciate this capture of this proud bird...
