myself

a period

now I know you folk out there who don't think as I think
wonder why I did double upside down in my picture
Lots and lots of reasons
I am here
that is there
I am thinking it here
but that is what is there
and its history
and its story
and is the racism any different
here to there
which I had read
as constantly I read
when my beloved was working away
and the children were small

someone said they were beautiful pictures
that I painted at that time
all robbed now by the lab
traced by cheating design lab sponsored females
who buy holiday homes with the proceeds
and lie to everyone about their skill

and when my beloved returned
he always brought me things he knew I loved
and for the children too
He brought me a carved Zulu warrior's head
(I carved nuns in wood)
It was in light wood
not in the hardest of all woods
african afromosia
in which I carved The Ukrainians
as Santiago my teacher at Bow Church
told me once you can use African Afromosia
you will be able to carve anything

this Zulu warrior's head went with me everywhere
graced every fireplace
but since the lab's intervention
they thieve constantly
(they call that supporting me by the way
that and using all my work
which every country they paid will get to use)
everything, photos, mourning fabric for dad's death
anything as each student has to show their ability
by thieveing something from our house
which has meaning as well as torture
which has intensified terribly
since my return from China in July
