(update)thanks to the idea from life is but a dream, she suggested doing characters of FAR members..which everyone saw the recent post of Mino Yasue..but really this one was my 1st which was entered in the new arrival 2 yrs ago. its has been my avatar at all the websites but i never really pushed it for reviews. yes i reaally look like this only more gray hair, well a lotta gray hair, but i am currently working on another FAR member which will be posted soon. Makes ya wonder who is gonna be next!! stay tuned on that one.wink. However, u can see how much i have modified over the 2 yrs i been here. 1st i would like to openly thank Lucien Van Oosten, who has had a major influence and helping me fine tune my work and also I would like to thank all the members here on FAR, who have reviewed my work from a 1 star to 5 plus(yes even the one stars) to help fine tune my skill as well!

(original artist notes posted 2 yrs ago)To ink or not to ink..That is a question that has always been asked. Am I a cartoonist or a artist...both!im illustrator!..tell me a story and ill put it on papers. I have been asked in the past, why don't I pick more reputable mediums...like paint, chalk or even copic markers..anything but sharpie/BIC markers. no matter what topic, sharpie/BIC can be an equal medium in gallery art. For 4 decades I scrapped for materials (im not talking about that overpriced pens)flairs..bics...sharpies...off brands...i played, I experimented, no art class I know of would teach this medium. Plain and simple this is poor mans art.(hey we need a break! Anywhere you go in the art world there someone's hand out and asking for money from the poor artist to promote their artwork). No wonder not many famous artist is wealthy, to many dependents. By presenting this medium no matter what the picture is, sharpie/BIC is the main topic. If you notice i dont just draw one thing, many things has influence in my life, from past present and future. My biggest thrill is working with writers. I have been not only thanking the writer for selecting my work but to encourage him if needing a future of potential collaborations. which the last ones has worked out pretty for both of us. Well it is what is, good or bad i stand by my work. Hope you enjoy. yall comeback now yahear!
