At East Ham College, where I taught Access GCSE English etc we had a fantastically successful Life Drawing group. One day the Head of Art told us they had a directive to close it, as it was none productive. Most of the people who attended the three times a week, packed to the doors, were working artists and teachers. We ARTISTS are a none respected Minority in this society!
