I was due to visit friends in Texas, tickets bought and ready to go, when a teaching and examiners post came up near Naples. I had wanted to visit Italy all my life, so I ditched Texas and went. I had not checked, something all travelling teachers should do first, the school had been blacked time and again on the internet service. It was my fault for going to a blacked school. I did not stay long. A box for a room, through which everyone had to walk to get to the washing machine. Bad pay and tension beyond belief among staff. However, the school kids WERE nice and were good fun. I have to admit, I see the world through my work mainly. I visited Naples several times. Rows upon rows of cars, literally everywhere. This was one of the nicer areas, I chose it because the requirements were not about interest but for 'cars' .
